U-PICK $2 Lb      WE-PICK $3 Lb*

*Please keep in mind that we do run out of pre-picked fruit at the fruit stand at times--
so already picked berries are NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE.

All our berries are the same price. That means Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries & our giant thornless Blackberries are all $2/lb if YOU PICK ... or available already picked at our fruit stand for $3.00/lb.

We charge by the lb. You can borrow one of our pickin' buckets, but we do run out of 'em so you might wanna' toss one in the car:) You might also bring some large flat boxes that you can pour your berries out into as well.

I DO A LIVE RADIO BROADCAST EVER SATURDAY TO KEEP PEOPLE UPDATED...
Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. I'm live on local radio station K.O.Z.I.'s "2nd Cup Of Coffee" program. If you're not living locally, you can listen live over the internet. Just go to their website at KOZI and click "listen live".

When we do start pickin' we will have nearly a 6 week window of pickin' berries. We may also be picking raspberries, blackberries & strawberries as well...

Take a look at our
2006 Ripe Fruit Timeline to give you an idea of when we were pickin' specific varieties of berries from last year.

 Q&A First things first.
Say “Howdy” to
Guillermo.

HE'S OUR FARM FOREMAN & HE’S IN CHARGE OUT THERE.
We rely on him to decide which rows ARE & ARE NOT open for picking. If he has rows
TAPED OFF, he means:  NO PICKIN’ IN THOSE ROWS. PLEASE RESPECT HIS RULES.
He has the authority to ask you to leave, so be good out there, folks. :)

 OFFICIAL FIELD RULES

#1    PLEASE HAVE BERRIES WEIGHED &
PAID FOR
BEFORE YOU START EATING THEM.
If you are “grazing”, you will be asked to leave.

#2   KIDS 12 & UNDER MUST HAVE ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES
This means: STICK WITH ‘EM & PICK WITH ‘EM.
Make sure they’re picking RIPE BERRIES that YOU WANT to
BUY.
IF THEY PICK 'EM -- YOU BOUGHT 'EM REGARDLESS OF COLOR.

#3   ABSOLUTELY NO WALKING BETWEEN PLANTS!
It knocks berries off the plants — and breaks the branches.
People who do not respect this rule
WILL be asked to leave.

#4   ONLY SOME ROWS ARE OPEN FOR PICKING
ROWS THAT ARE TAPED OFF ARE NOT OPEN.
If you see a group of people picking in the restricted area—
THOSE ARE
OUR PICKERS PICKING FOR OUR FRUIT STAND.
DO NOT PICK IN THEIR ROWS.

#5   PICK ONLY THE RIPEST BERRIES FROM EACH CLUSTER.
Ripe blueberries are DARK PURPLE—even where it attaches to the stem.
Leave the greener berries on the bush to be picked later in the season.
AND PLEASE BE GENTLE WITH OUR PLANTS!

#6   GRAB A BUCKET & HEAD TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FIELD.
There’s more fruit at the bottom of the rows,
so we recommend starting at the bottom.

COME ON UP WHEN YOU’RE DONE.
We’ll weigh your fruit.

 $2 / lb  U-Pick   $3 / lb  WE-Pick

 Thanks Folks!

LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST --
DON'T FORGET THE CAMERA!

This is a wonderful, Norman Rockwell-type of experience for you and your family.
Kids LOVE it and it's an ideal setting and time to get some pictures & lasting memories together as a family!

INTERESTING FACT:
We got 100,000 lbs. of blueberries
out of our fields in 2008.

U-Pick 2008

We started PICKING Blueberries on
Wednesday, July 7, 2008 and harvest ended on August 29, 2008.

A "typical" year of picking...blueberries normally start the last week in June and continue through the first week in August. The summer started out with pretty cool weather, so it caused the crop to come on later than it normally would in 2008.

It was a fantastic crop, the bushes were totally burdened with lots and lots of huge gorgeous blueberries. People came with friends and family and picked. They had a blast. So did we. It was a really great season full of lots of friendly, wonderful people. THANK YOU! :)

Although BLUEBERRY U-PICK IS OVER FOR THIS YEAR...
 we STILL HAVE LOTS OF
BLACKBERRIES TO BE PICKED!
They are SUPER SWEET, GIANT berries and (best part) they're THORNLESS!
ONLY $1 / LB!! GO PICK 'EM!
