So - here's the idea (which is where all the trouble starts, right?!) I want to publish my own book/cookbook that's reflective of our style of living and cooking here at Blueberry Hills. I likely won't be sharing any of my top secret recipes, but I've got some other tried and true ones that you'll LOVE. Trust me!

But here's where it gits interestin'. I'm going to put the official "call out" to other members of our quaint, Norman-Rockwell-esque community to share their favorite recipes with us as well. Now I know there are some phenomenal cooks around this town...my Gramma's one of 'em -- and I'm gonna' twist her arm to give up some of her favorites.  And folks - if you're one of our regular customers and you don't even live around here...if you've got a "to die for" recipe you'd love to share that would fit the "feeling" of this book...I'd love for you to share it. My idea is to put people's names below the recipe, where they're from and a couple comments from them about either the recipe OR their experience(s) here at Blueberry Hills. How does that sound?! :) I think it'll be fun!

In addition to the recipes, I also want to incorporate our story here at Blueberry Hills. I want to share pictures of the inside of Grampa's shed, old quaint family pictures. Remember - I'm 5th generation from right here.

I also want to share some of the things I've written with you folks. Some of them will be things from this website -- others will be completely different. I guess this is the book I've always planned to write and will encompass a lot of different aspects of country life.

I also want to share some of the local history of Manson with you as well. They say "it's a nice place to be FROM"...well, it's a fantastic place to still "BE". And we're grateful for all of YOU that allow us to continue to BE here at Blueberry Hills.

I appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have with regard to this project. I'll be talking about it more live on our local radio station; KOZI radio (KOZI.COM and click LISTEN LIVE) on Wednesdays & Saturdays @ 9:30, if you want to keep up with what's going on out here.

This isn't going to happen overnight, and as summer's headin' in this direction I don't know how soon I'll be able to actually git my "arms" around this baby, but I'll be makin' some quiet progress.

I'd love to hear from you, folks! Especially comments. I might even have a really cool "guest book" comments section in it too. Again, I'm flying by the seat of my pants on this one, so I'll see where we end up!!
